BYC: Why did you decide to open a supplement and nutrition store?
Raj: I have worked in the nutrition field for more than 14 years for different supplement stores and during that time I have developed a passion for acquiring knowledge in supplement industry to benefit people and contribute to their well-being. So, I decided to continue my passion and open my own Supplement store where I can use my time and knowledge in supporting people in achieving their health goals by providing guidance about supplements in promoting well-being of an individual.
BYC: Tell us about your background and how your knowledge helps your clients.
Raj: My passion for working in health food industry started back in 2010 In London, England. While I was pursuing MSc in Pharmaceutical Science, I started working part time in a health food store. At that time, I had little knowledge about supplements or their benefits in promoting well-being. Interacting with clients every day and hearing their positive stories raised my curiosity and I started digging more. I read many books, material to acquire knowledge about supplements. I started attending online webinars and went to various health shows. I developed a passion for this industry. I can proudly say that I have acquired knowledge over 14 years through research and client interaction. I have offered support to people achieving their health goals like Muscle Building, Weight Loss, Improved sleep, Managing Stress and Feeling more energetic.
BYC: Do you have a philosophy or mission statement for your business?
Raj: Nutrition and Beyond Ltd. has as its mission to offer support and knowledge which enhances well-being of an individual by providing access to high quality supplements.
BYC: You have several discount incentives for seniors, healthcare workers, etc. Can you tell us more about them.
Raj: Every day, we offer 10 percent discount on regular merchandise to seniors (Over 60 years), Firefighters, Paramedics, Nurses, Chiropractors, Massage therapists, Military, Police Officers, Local Gym Members and Retail workers (Supporting Our Retail Industry).
Also, we have a Flyer sale on different items every month.

We are a family-owned small business who believes in promoting good health. We are not a store that just sells supplements. We care how are clients feel and make sure their well-being is promoted with great quality products. Moreover, I will not have anything in my store which I will not use myself or for my family. Raj: We have a physical store location and people can also buy on our website or place an order via phone.
